Overview
The oft-maligned stereotype of orks and trolls as barbaric wielders of vicious melee weapons was ingrained in a young Joe Burton by the pirated Neil the Ork Barbarian trids he watched growing up in the Redmond Barrens. Fascinated with medieval arms and armor as depicted in popular media, Joe was delighted when his uncle showed him a jury-rigged smelter his uncle planned to use to extract valuable metals from electronic waste. When the smelter proved too crude for delicate precious metals and rare earth minerals, Joe appropriated it and used the rudimentary smithing knowledge he got off the trid to produce crude weapons and armor for the local gangers and anyone else who wanted them. Honing his craft over the years, he earned his nickname "Chops" for his tendency to flashily demonstrate the efficacy of his blades on whatever was at hand.
