Born in southern Japan Hanma was always a second class citizen. Thankfully even his kind are welcome in construction moving beams and digging holes. But unlike his fellows he thought he had a way up in the world. One of the higher ups had a wife with a taste for rougher men. Thanks to her he enjoyed the high life for a time, even if he had to sell out his buddies to secure it. But karma comes down hard on traitors and the distracted driver of a bulldozer was its instrument. With his legs crushed beyond repair he had no value to the company, and less to his fellow workers. So to run from his shame he sold what little he owned and moved to seattle. Now, after a bit of time aclimating and barely making it by flipping burgers in a truck. He wants the high life again and he things being a runner is a more 'honest' way to get it.

In order to secure his place in the company he sold out his coworkers. And when the company asked more of him, he relented and became an enforcer for the higher ups against the workers. They made him go under the knife to perform his duties. But his karma caught up with him and the executive who wife he was banging used him for a suicide mission. He thought he was moving up in the company moving to corporate espionage. He barely survived so he sold everything but his trusty shotgun and went to the U.S. and is trying to rebuild his life and work his way up more 'honestly' and reembrace his heritage.

A man who has made many mistakes and has paid the price for them. But that has not dissuaded him from his goals, he will just be a better man this time around. He just hopes his past doesn't catch up with him.

Background

Born is southern Japan he worked for a Shiawase Subsidiary in construction. During this he became the side piece of an executive's wife and went under the knife to secure that relationship.
