Like with most heists, the team had a 5 step plan to actually handle all of this
- research the place off site first, see what they can find out. Connections, floor plans, everything.
- Do an on site casing of the place, find out as much as possible, learn defenses quietly before hitting the place for real
- set up ways of defeating those defenses during the intervening days to set up their final hit.
- actually hit the spot once the gold was there
- get out quietly and make a profit.

Summary

A modern twist on a classic premise - LET'S GO ROB A BANK!

Some people are utterly ecstatic over this, others are not. But when it comes to crime, the ones who always seem to profit right out the gate are the runners. And so it is here.

Background

About 3 months ago, Hellsing hired a team to help one Penelope Farina, a poor girl who wanted to get out of an arranged marriage once her secret lover went MIA. They helped her tie up loose ends, got her out of Seattle safely, and that should have been that. Unfortunately, years of immortality and time away from the runner scene proper hasn't done enough to quell Hellsing's desire to butt into other people's business. In particular, the whereabouts of said lover, one Outis Keifberg, were something she couldn't get out of her mind. But she couldn't exactly do anything about it without more funds.

Luckily, a new player coming into Seattle, a banking institute that went by Jerry and Johnson, had come from the UCAS and were trying to expand into Seattle too. And according to the former slayer's contacts, they would be doing so with Yakuza help.

So, she struck a deal with some of the Mafia to hit up a rival and stop them from getting their end of the deal by disrupting JJ's operations. Apparently the deal was going to be dealing with some gold bar transfers, a bit old fashioned but it was what this group specialized in. And that had her excited. It had been decades since she had seen an old fashioned bank heist go off. Time to get one started again.

The Meet

A late night call brought in the runners for the night. The Librarian, Rosalia, Belladonna, and Exodus. All called in by their fixers to head to the Devil's Kiss and handle business. After a few drinks are offered but professionally turned down, they're lead into Hellsing's actual place to get the situation: Hit the spot over in Renton, take those gold bars they're gonna smuggle in (to the disbelief of many in this Fiat currency world we live in), and preferably do it quietly so they don't have a swarm of KE or private security on their asses when they do the hand off at the drop off point. From the Friday of that meeting, the team had 2 days until the gold was supposed to arrive on site, and then roughly a week (though they had no exacts on when precisely they were going to be transferring the gold out of there again). Hellsing provided bags for actually carrying this stuff along with a vehicle should they have needed it, but Belladonna had her own. The original offering Hellsing gave was 10k a head to get it all, but Rosalia managed to sweet talk it up to a bonus of 4k should the team be quiet and professional about it and avoid HTR jumping down their throats. With the terms settled, the team was off.

The Plan

Connections, floor plans, everything. - Do an on site casing of the place, find out as much as possible, learn defenses quietly before hitting the place for real - set up ways of defeating those defenses during the intervening days to set up their final hit. - actually hit the spot once the gold was there - get out quietly and make a profit.
