Summary

Two people (or personalities) in one body, the pair of Sweetbriar and Belladonna are separately both competent runners with a varying vicious streak and a deeply broken mental state.

Background

Belladonna

Jenny - Jennifer, really, to her parents - was once an ordinary kid, or about as ordinary as an albino child got. They wanted perfection, though, and she just wasn't that. Her childhood went about as could be expected. She was a constant disappointment, could never perform well enough, and was routinely beaten in order to 'motivate' her to work harder. When it invariably didn't work, they got creative with their punishments.

By the time they were seventeen, they were tired and through with the abuse, and ran away to live with an ex-military uncle, Theodore Frey. He provided the care they needed to begin piecing themselves back together, provided skills and tools for self-empowerment, and helped them go through school. Anything to get the husk of a child they had become to be happier, healthier.

While they did finish their schooling, they quit their first job within six months of starting for two reasons. One, it was boring as hell and she just didn't fit in. Two? Theodore's conditions that "weren't service related" finally crept up to put him into the hospital for good. One of the skills he had taught a younger Jenny and Lucy had been to shoot. Basic self-defense in an increasingly hostile world. She decided to use that skill in a more palatable way to earn money, help put her uncle back on the road to recovery.

He didn't make it. Two and a half years of bitter struggle and mountains of debt later, Theo finally kicked the bucket. The work suited them, at least. Demolitions, infiltration, and a crack shot with a handgun, though not always at the same time, Sweetbriar and Belladonna are here to stay. Besides, they never did have the time to go back and kill their parents. It would be a shame if they let that go.
