At the first meet, Moreau explained that Howell planned to take over Akira Pharmaceuticals, but needed accurate information on the corporation's cash flow and enough evidence to file a court case against the corp (to crash their stock value). To that end, the runners would be flying to the corp's main location in Toronto to do some snooping. The flight would be covered by Howell's resources, and support on the ground would be handled by the Violi mafia family, who were promised control over the illicit parts of Akira's operations. Having accepted the job, the runners had nine hours to prepare before their second meeting and subsequent flight.

Summary

Runners take a trip to Toronto to investigate the corp Akira Pharmaceuticals at the behest of Thurston Howell VII, looking for evidence of financial malfeasance. They find a money launderer connected with the corporation and infiltrate his house for the real numbers.

Background

For background information, see the Father's_Figures metaplot page and its associated news and runs.

The Meet

There were in fact two meets. One with Carleton Moreau, who acted as an intermediary between Shadowhaven and his brother-in-law, and a second shorter meet with said in-law Thurston Howell VII where some information was clarified and transportation was arranged.

The runners started this time by having Triage fill the rest of them in on the previous runs' events, then the team started preparing. Searches were run and disguises for the whole team were made. Partway
