Summary
The Draco Foundation asks the runners help in uncovering another piece of the sevenfold staff, this one in South America. This, of course, rapidly derails.
Background
The sevenfold staff, as it is currently being called, is theorized to be a powerful magical relic from the 4th world, capable of feats of magic unknown to modern practitioners. At some point, it was shattered, and the pieces found there way to the corners of the globe. The Draco Foundation recently learned of the location of several of the pieces, and have hired runners to retrieve them. One such piece was in South America, and so a runner team was contacted to go there to retrieve it.
The Meet
The team met Adowa Webster at a Draco Foundations office, and were informed that they were wanted to retrieve it. While the Draco Foundation didn't know its exact location, they knew it was near Metropole. The team was promised a good reward, and possibly payment in ware or magical materials.
The Plan
The team got a flight to Metropole courtesy of the Draco Foundation, and arrived in Metropole to look for clues. Knowing that the artifact they were looking for likely had a significant effect on the background count, they asked a spirit to help look for that, and while it wasn't able to find the artifact itself, it did manage to find a disturbance in background counts in the rainforest to the west of Metropole. And so the team headed out, with the tracking spearheaded by Huntress.

Game Quotes
Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Chameleon:An infiltrator caught exfiltrating. A Face that violates the most fundamental rule of negotiating in the shadows. Sigh. Thank the maker for great team mates. I owe Thunder a trip to Buenos Aires. I'll add the sanitized events here in Argentina to my file for Thalia Sandoval.
Thunder:Dear Diary, the past weeks have been extreme. I've previously had bounties on my head, Omega Dawn on my back, and Europol putting enough depleted uranium in me make me go horizontal, but this was another league.
The most memorable and paradox thing was fooling an old dragon that we hadn't stolen its magical artiffact, followed by a friendlyish handshake with said dragon, sealing a death pact that would destroy Chameleon and me if we wouldn't kill the Black Panter within 90 days. Being kissed by death in such a way made me apreciate every second of life and my friends / colleagues Huntress and Chameleon.
PS. Remember to work on social skills. I didn't manage to show Huntress and Chameleon my apreciation for their company and being there for me. Huntress really didn't have to stick around to help us and Chameleon was willing to nobly sacrifice his life to save Huntress and me, and I didn't even say thank you. I should at least write them a card, but what should I write?"
