Overview
A born and bred Tarislar street kid, St@b's career as a hacker began with a deck that they looted off a dead runner's corpse. The runner in question, a street level member of NeoHaven, had run afoul of the Ancients and gotten a spur through the head for their troubles. They left behind only their heavily modified Azteca 200, a well loved piece of gear that St@b's spent the past few months banging against a metaphorical wall. She may have an instinctual knack for the Matrix, but a lack of education makes for a lot of trial and error; her deck's been bricked and un-bricked so many times that it barely even resembles its original state. She's improving though, gradually. Recently she's started hanging with a crew of Ancients hopefuls, looking to leverage her newfound matrix skills to secure herself a patch and the money that comes with it.
Traits
By the standards of teenage script kiddies St@b is pretty level headed; a lifetime in the barrens has forced her to develop some common sense. She may brag or start fights when people are talking drek, but she never gets herself into scrapes that she can't get out of. She's cold and pragmatic towards strangers, treating them as means to an end until they give her a reason to trust them. Despite being a hacker she won't hesitate to commit real world violence, earning her nickname from her reaction to people trying to steal her deck. She's a hot sauce enthusiast, and frequently spends her free time incinerating her taste buds with spice.
Aspects Description
Aspect | Description |
---|---|
Shrewd Negotiator | St@b didn't make it this long giving out stuff for free. Everything in the sixth world has a cost, and if you want her help you're going to have to pay in full. She will not work for anything less than complete, up front payment; asking for a favor or talking up potential rewards is a quick way to get yourself hung up on. She may accept payment in something other than cash, but it'd better be a damn good offer. |
Statistically Average Script Kiddie | St@b is a baby hacker, and thus can do baby hacker things. She gets +2 to any active checks involving matrix legwork and hacking. |
Tarislar Raised | St@b's spent her whole life in Puyallup's elven ghettoes. She gets +2 to any knowledge checks involving the layout, hangouts, and gangs of the area. |
The Spice Must Flow | St@b gains +2 to any checks related to finding or purchasing drugs on the matrix. I mean, what else is she gonna use the cyberdeck for? |
