Summary

Madame Butterfly is seeking vengeance for the mistreatment of her girls. Local 405 Hellhounds have been causing trouble in her club and treating some of her girls poorly. Butterfly would like a message sent that this behavior is not acceptable. She is asking a group of runners to do her this favor in exchange for some local cred and a future favor.

Background

The Meet

The team meets up in the Madame's private host. She explains that a group of 405 Hellhounds is causing some of her employees trouble. She is hoping that the team will make an example of them, hopefully a non lethal one, so that they stop. In exchange for the service she is willing to put out a good word for the runners, additionally she will offer her services fencing any recovered goods or providing change of ownership where desired. The team agrees and begins discussing a plan of action.

The Plan

The team spent a little time researching the groups leader, Allen Ricten, a rather powerful magician. They discovered some basic information about the Hellhounds including their use of actual hellhound pets. Canis was able to find Allen's commcode and trace it to a building in southern Bellevue. Their plan shifted quite a bit, blowing up the building, attempting to rob some of their vehicles, straight up shooting Allen through the walls of the building. All were discussed, ultimately the team decided to perform some physical scouting first.

The Run

Canis performed a casual drive by investigation of the building, a standard looking garage, doors closed and a few guards outside with hounds. A large host was also located on the premises. While this occurred Ez-Azael and Tempest attempted to assense the area, only to be stopped by a mana barrier surrounding the building. The hounds on the outside showed as awakened creatures. Eidolon decided to discreetly walk the perimeter of the building, noticing a functional drone and a number of cameras surrounding the building.

Eidolon, not happy with the level of intel acquired so far, decided to risk sending in a flyspy to investigate further. The device deftly entered the facility and scouted out the internals. Little did he know however, that the on sight rigger managed to spot the rogue drone's matrix signature and called in an off sight decker to engage it.

The team decided on a general plan, while using the flyspy to spot, Eidolon would fire on and attempt to kneecap Allen. Once this began the hope was that many of the guards would move out to engage him leaving the facility lightly defended, a strong plan. While Tempest and Eidolon levitated into an elevated position on the roof of a nearby apartment building, the decker began his attack, brute forcing the flyspy and getting marks on Eidolon. The impromptu attack caused the runners to panic some and begin their assault early. Tempest blasted a large hole in the roof of the building nearby Allen's location, providing a shot for Eidolon to take. The initial fire missed the magician, who protected by combat sense became aware of the assault. Allen returned the favor by commanding his two patrolling spirits to attack Tempest and Eidolon. Ez and Canis assaulted the front of the building, occupying the guards.

The battle lasted but a mere 6 seconds, an eternity to the runners who emerged victorious. Eidolon falling off a roof and taking a pummeling from one of the spirts, rigger, and a hellhound. Tempest dispatched the spirit attacking them and sprinted into the building seeking the magicians head. Ez and Canis deftly engaged and defeated a number of elite guards positions near the front of the facility. In the end Allen met his fate after a two sided volley of lightning bolts caused his untimely explosion. The remaining guards either fled or were captured.
