Trid microcelebrity Richardson Nash owned a one-of-a-kind SOTA refridgerator, which had been a gift for him from Horizon after he signed on.
The Meet
The runners were invited to a VR chatroom/cafe for the meet. The Johnson outlined the job: stealing a specific fridge from a certain celebrity. The J's cover story of being a "collector" was immediately seen through by the team, who sensed desperation on the J's part to get this SOTA fridge--desperation that could only be born of a Persnickety Renter-afflicted AI forced to upgrade to a higher-tech fridge to compensate for increasing Depth.
