Background

Honeypie found solace and a sense of belonging in a group of like-minded individuals—fellow wanderers amidst urban decay. These were dreamers, misguided by youthful exuberance and a hunger for more than the common life has to offered. Whether this choice was wise or reckless remained irrelevant; Honeypie, casting aside retrospective glances, lived anchored in the present.

Her childhood unfolded in a relentless dance with the challenges of the Barrens, where resourcefulness and resilience were paramount. Pursuing whispers and tales of peculiar occurrences in the depths of the Barrens became a shared pursuit for Honeypie and her comrades. It was during one such exploration that their ragtag group stumbled upon an abandoned book, dismissed as mere magical nonsense by the others.

In an unexpected turn of fate, a mysterious raven, adorned with four piercing eyes, descended nearby, its gaze fixated upon Honeypie. Little did she know that this enigmatic bird heralded the beginning of a journey into the arcane, marking a moment where the mundane and the magical collided. after a few seconds, the raven was gone like it was never there.

She kept this book around and even with her friends making jokes about how it was useless later that night. She had a nightmare witnessing a strange being and a raven watching from a nearby light pole and giving into her instincts she ran towards the light and heard the raven speak a riddle "A realm unseen, a veil malign. With whispers old and secrets bold, A truth untold, a tale to unfold.

Feathers weave a mystic dance, In moonlit night, take a chance. Through secrets veiled, by whispers told, The ancient art, the power to hold.

Wings that span both earth and sky, A riddle whispered, flying high. Seek the words within the caws, Unravel mysteries, break the laws.

In fourfold gaze, the answer lies, A magic spark, a truth that flies. Embrace the riddle, heed its call, For in its depths, your fate enthralls."

Walking down this path with the guide of raven at her side to uncover the hidden secrets of the magical world and using the magic inside of her to boost her skills at getting what she wants. for better or worse she has spent a few years in the shadow trying to make enough of a name to get noticed.
