Summary
A bar fight in the Barrens of Puyallup because some guy just had to double deal
Background
Yeah there isn't much background here - late on a Friday some guy got his ass beat by drunk Ancients because he tried to two-time them and deal with the Cutters too. They did not like that.
He fled to a bar in Puyallup, made a rush call to the Haven, and got runners to find him
The Meet
The runners came over (you can read the box you know who they are) late in the night and arrived at the bar, got a quick run of the situation, and were very politely asked by this beaten, terrified man to not let these guys kill him.
They agreed.
The Plan
Limitless got on the roof and coordinated with Roadkill below on a crossfire of those below, Breeze got to work fortifying the interior to make sure they couldn't shoot at the principle when he arrived. They cleared the bar out of anyone who might not wanna get involved in the scene (with Limitless firing her remington off to scare them away) .
Plug aura farmed at one of the tables and pretended not to be a runner so he could be a real spaghetti western protagonist.
The Run
The ancients arrived. 4 with swords and pistols, 4 with smgs, one with a massive guitar-axe, and one who wasn't armed and was probably a mage. They entered inside, saw Plug being weird as the others hid for an ambush, and called him out. He tried to say "I'm not a runner, just a normal person", and the big Ancient decided he was going to kill Plug.
Fighting began. Limitless opened fire on a number of the Ancients down below, but her gun jammed for once as her hubris had given the Universe reason to punish her. She took down one of them, injuring the others, as she took cover. Roadkill worked on suppressing them, with Plug and Breeze working down the ones in the room. The fire back was a pain and eventually Roadkill had to stop the suppression and let the close-range members in, but by then the mage was down and Plug had somehow managed to actually trid action star his way through the fight with the big guy. Limitless kept whittling down the numbers outside and, once the gunners were dealt with, moved on to help clean up the ones who ran in to fall to Breeze and Roadkill as Plug narrowly dodged more kicks. He...he was greasy somehow. We do not question what happened.
They managed to send the rest packing soon after that, with one Ancient crashing in his panicked escape and another barely being saved by Limitless and Roadkill after Stick and Shock very nearly killed him. So no one died today! Technically.
Aftermath
The guy they saved was pretty thankful to not be dead, which was cool.
He couldn't really pay them though, and only had drugs and bolt holes to offer them.
Limitless left in frustration.
