Summary

The Sojourner Between Stars is (supposedly) the spirit of a comet - born to travel between worlds, yet never truly belong to one. In appearance, it takes the form of an East Asian woman with some European aspects. Exactly where the parents of this form came from are a mystery; to anyone who knows how to pick out specific ethnicities, the Sojourner's apparent heritage doesn't quite fit into any known groups.

When in its more realistic form, the spirit's shape is mundane. The woman is plain, though with a 'naturally attractive' look, as if someone whose genetics agreed well together were wearing subtler cosmetics. (Or "none", as those who don't understand women's cosmetics might imagine.) In its more visibly supernatural state, the woman the form is based on instead wears a robe of stars across a black sea, with the glittering, icy fog of a comet's trail seeping out of it and fading in its wake.

Narrative Significant Powers

• Materialization: The Sojourner's body is a false shadow enforced onto the world - will taking form.
• Realistic Form: When materializing, the Sojourner can choose to do so in a manner consistent with physical laws. It looks and responds indistinguishably from a regular human in this state, though the facade cannot keep up with particularly precise interactions such as neural interfaces or genetic scans, and nothing prevents circumstantial evidence from revealing the truth.
