Summary
Frieren, SIN name Katja Messer, seeks refuge amidst the shadows. Frieren's childhood was anything but ordinary, as their latent magical abilities manifested, the Yakuza attempted to exploit their parents for money and power. Fearing for their life, Frieren's parents orchestrated their escape to Germany, eventually being sold off to an German Family with ties to SK.
In Germany, Frieren found a semblance of peace, living a dual life of normalcy and magic. They honed their ice manipulation skills through meditative practices, cultivating a sense of stillness they termed "purity." Despite the apparent tranquility, Frieren's past caught up with them in an unexpected twist; The dormant drake within emerged, revealing their true nature and shattering the fragile stability they had built.
With the revelation of Frieren's draconic essence, SK took an immediate interest and pursuit. Frieren, now a drake with a cold and brutal edge to their combat prowess, sought sanctuary in the chaotic shadows of Seattle. The city's vibrant underworld offered a chance to disappear amidst the myriad of runners, criminals, and magical entities.
Frieren took up shadowrunning as a means of survival, leveraging their formidable ice magic skills in covert operations. Their reputation as a relentless and powerful operative spread through the shadow community, attracting both allies and adversaries. Despite the danger that surrounded them, Frieren clung to a code of honor, keeping earnest promises and forming unexpected connections in the shadows.
As Frieren navigates the treacherous world of shadowrunning, they are haunted by the looming threat of Saedar-Krupp. The pursuit is not only a matter of survival and freedom from the past. Each shadowrun becomes a step towards eluding the relentless grasp of their former life, all while discovering the untapped potential within their drake heritage. As Frieren's new journey unfolds, blending the chilling elegance of ice magic with the gritty reality of the shadow underworld.
