Overview

Lucas "Pappy" Hansen is a lieutenant in the Seattle Cutters. He is one of the longest-running members in the Cutters, joining in the massive recruitment push following their decimation. Pappy joined the Cutters as a simple street thug, cutting his teeth (and losing his arm) in bitter fights with the Ancients to reclaim Cutter territory. As the Cutters grew in stature and became a more professional organization, so did Lucas. He moved up to lead a group of younger Cutters, now street security professionals. While he generally has a gruff and grizzled demeanor, he is shown to have a warm and caring personality for those he leads, leading to the nickname "Pappy". His group often provides protection for smugglers, shadow businesses, and downtrodden communities. While Runners provide (sometimes deadly) competition to this work, he prefers to see it as a friendly rivalry, and has some good relations with the Shadow Community.
