UCAS Army Mobilizes Against Insect Spirit Swarm In Kansas

We are reporting on a breaking news story! The state of Kansas has come under a localized disaster as it would appear that insect spirits, like those that ravaged the city of Chicago in 2055, have emerged in the rural areas north of the city of Wichita and have begun devouring all in their path. The numbers detected through amateur trideo recorded by local citizens or leaked from military sources showcase an unusually large number of spirits.

So far, the commanding officer, Major General Harry Vought stationed at Fort Riley has only had this to comment:

"I assure the residents of the state of Kansas that the UCAS Army will do its utmost to keep each and every one of you safe. You've been sent instructions on how to secure yourselves if our brave men and women haven't come to evacuate you yet. As for those who are not being extracted from the operation zone, I must stress that entering the swarm's area of control is extremely dangerous and not only will you likely be killed, you'll be making the Army's job harder. Each unidentified individual can be a potential insect spirit host body attempting to sneak past our containment. We cannot take risks and we urge civilians and other third parties to stay well clear of the region until we've properly dealt with this crisis. Thank you."

So far, reports indicate that the entirety of Moundridge and Hesston have been all but destroyed by the swarm. No reports of the queen controlling the swarm have been made and there is no confirmed knowledge of where this swarm even came from, or how it has evaded detection considering its size. We'll update our viewers and listeners as more information is discovered.
