Description
The Underhaven Grotto is the newest Ork Underground expansion but real estate mogul and troll-about-undertown Kirby Fangsbreath. In 2070 Kirby found the cave system that would house "The Underhaven" and knew his life's work would take place inside. Seven layers of small caves and conjoined living spaces was the perfect home for Trogs who had done well in the world and wanted somewhere that felt like a four to five star experience in the comfort of an underground warren. The project has been moving silently for years as Kirby has brought resources down to The Underhaven Grotto and is expected to have a massive launch weekend coinciding with the 13th Or'zet Underground Music Fesival.
Distinctive Features
The entire hotel is distinctive in that it is situated inside an stable Alchera that ostensibly appeared during the crossing of Haley's comet. The entire hotel is placed or carved out of a deep orange reddish stone that is always slightly cool to the touch. No expense has been spared to bring these caves up to modern finery, from maglocks and security doors on entrances to air purifiers and the newest in AR and VR entertainment across the hotel.
IC Information
The Underhaven Grotto is one of the largest development projects in the history of the Ork Underground and the apotheosis of years of Kirby Fangsbreath's work in developing and legitimizing the underground. Trogs, and indeed metahumanity, from around the world can enjoy a taste of finery and a brush with the famed Seattle Skraacha in the incredibly secure stone structure tucked into the northern reaches of the Ork Underground. The caverns behind the hotel have been turned into campsites, concert and entertainment venue for the Or'zet Underground 13 music and culture festival 2085.
