Overview

A Cybertechncian that works in an MCT factory, but is extremely dissatisfied and angry with MCT due to some of their less savory actions and cruddy moves. Technika continues to work for the Megacorp as it gives her access to their information, inventory, and allows her to be a better Fixer when it comes to jobs related to MCT. Technika enjoys modifying, inventing, and repairing almost any sort of cybertechnology - especially if it is cyberware - and is more than happy to help particularly competent Runners get their greedy little hands on some good upgrades or drones and is all the more happy if it comes directly from MCT stock.

On the flipside, Technika is not a big fan of bioware due to MCT's alleged and known actions in the development of such genetic modification and is not likely to be very helpful when it comes to obtaining bioware. That said, if designs or copies of bioware happen to be "misplaced" and then "found" in Technika's possession after a Run, she may be open to granting favors. Usually she will destroy such items, but if they may prove useful to someone in dire need, she may give it to someone who can put it to good use for free to stick it to MCT. Anyone who helps her in that will likely gain a Favor.

! style="color: Red;"|Bioware Has The Taint of MCT! | style="color: Red;"| Technika's radically negative opinion on Bioware is almost exclusively thanks to MCT. While she understands how it can help others, she struggles to justify its existence to herself due to the many atrocities - especially towards Technomancers - that MCT and likely other corporations have committed. Technika absolutely refuses to make any Gear checks to obtain Bioware of any type or grade. |-

! style="color: Red;"|MCT Can't Know I'm Associated With You! | style="color: Red;"| Technika rides a fine line between "respected employee" and "loose end" within MCT. If they ever found out she was involved in something that hurt the corporation, she'd have to disappear for a while or at the very least she would be very unlikely to be particularly helpful beyond the bare minimum. If you botch a Run involving screwing with MCT in some way, or MCT Security catches you/finds you after a Run, Technika may require some recompense to continue working with you. Make a Loyalty Test. If you fail, you will owe Technika a number of Chips based on the Threat Level of the Run (1 for Low, 2 for Medium, 3 for Hard, etc). |-

! style="color: Red;"|"MCT Sell Out" | style="color: Red;"| While she is a willing employee for MCT, it is solely for the cybernetic and non biological technology side of things. Her disdain for Bioware and MCT's hand in it is so strong that she will assume that you sold out to MCT and helped them with their research and development of bioware (and the likely associated torture of Technomancers and other individuals of metahumanity) if you do a Run for the Megacorporation. She believes so strongly in her morals that she assumes that her working for MCT and you working for MCT are two very different, very opposed things. As a result, if you do a Run for MCT and Technika finds out somehow, Technika's Loyalty score is reduced by 1 point. |-

!I'm a Cyberware Fanatic! | Technika absolutely enjoys working with and using cyberware and wants to spread the joys of cyber-enhancements to everyone. Gear checks made by Technika to acquire cyberware get a +2 bonus. |-

!Extra Shiny Ware! | Where Technika adores cyberware, she absolutely craves getting a hold of the best kinds of cyberware all in the name of improving the lot of metahumanity. Technika gains a +2 bonus to Gear checks made to obtain Alphaware Grade Cyberware. |-

!Machines serve us! | Technika's skills and interests are not limited only to cyberware, and she enjoys all sorts of technologies - especially the kind that gets one from one place to another or can do the work of a person without the risk of life. Technika gains a +2 bonus to Gear checks made to obtain vehicles of any kind. |-

!A Machine Army! | Technika really enjoys tinkering with drones when she's not tinkering with cyberware. She absolutely adores the versatility and adaptability such machines have - especially in the hands of a skilled user. !MCT Whistleblower | While she admits that MCT makes really good cybertechnology and computers systems and is more than happy to use it, Technika despises their morals and values when it comes to developing biotechnology and the disregard for metahuman life involved. As a result, Technika is all to willing to assist in providing information relating to MCT - especially its employees and department heads. Technika gains a +2 bonus to Networking checks related to MCT employees and associates. |-

She understands that in order to fight for her values and to bring MCT's wrongdoings to light (and secure more cybertech), she needs to network and make that sweet Nuyen. She is more than happy to work as a Fixer - especially for anyone who enjoys messing with technology as much as she does. |-

!Suck it, MCT! | Technika's growing disdain for MCT has made her rather bold in her efforts to take down the corrupt corpos from within the fold. If you manage to steal designs, plans, or copies of bioware items and projects from MCT or anyone it was working on such projects with and bring it to Technika, she will grant you a Favor (Rating of which is up to GM discretion). Alternatively, doing this may get Technika to forgive a favor you owe her instead (depends on GM approval). |-

!"MCT Drones Are Top-Notch | Despite the fact she hates Bioware and that MCT active develops and researches it in terrible ways, Technika does have a lot of love for the more cybernetic and robotic products from MCT. Even though she wants the entire Bioware Department to die in a fire, Technika is loyal to MCT in most other morally unquestionable areas, and while she loves all drones, she has a lot of love to give MCT's Brand of drones in particular. Gear checks to obtain MCT Brand drones gains a +2 bonus. |-
