Summary

Two marital artists new to the streets of Seattle are introduced to the shadows and are pushed to their limits.

Background

New to Seattle, both Akane and TIESHANKO seek answers to find the man who assassinated their masters. Seattle apparently holding the key to figuring it out.

The Meet

The runners were called upon to a bar in Puyallup where a man with connections to the Triads stated they held some answers regarding the man who killed their masters. All they need do was find a Yakuza member and bring them in alive. The pair of martial artists quickly agreed and headed out to find their target.

Meanwhile, another veteran runner by the name of Broken-Hand was called upon by said Yakuza member for protection getting out of the city. They quickly agreed to this and headed out.

The Plan

Fearing something was off the pair contacted a fellow runner named Digifex to do some research. As it turns out the location they were given, a nearby airport was a fake and they would be leaving via the docks in Tacoma, so with haste they sped over towards the docks.

The Run

Once arriving at the docks the pair attempted to sneak up on the Yakuza but Broken-Hand caught the pair before they could fully sneak up on them and the battle was on. After the tense bout TIE SHANKO would fall seemingly dead only for a deeply buried magic to revitalize them. The fighting continued and with Broken-Hand knocked out thanks to Akane's skill the goons were easy work.

Aftermath

Choosing to spare Broken-Hand as he was a fellow Haven Runner the J gave them information regarding their masters assassin. Which as it would later turn out was fake.
