Overview
A third-generation astronaut, Adrian Taylor used to work for Ares Macrotechnology in the 60s as a technician with dreams of becoming a pilot - however, a combination corporate politics and the restructuring of orbital assets following Crash 2.0 stymied this goal, so he struck out on his own with a crew of "independent operators" in a Starbug-class freighter he christened the 'Firefly'.
Operating out of the "free port" of Echo Station in geosynchronous orbit, Adrian and his motley crew eek out a living in the shadows of space, running smuggled goods between stations as well as doing all sorts of dirty work on behalf of the movers and shakers in orbit.
