Background

An Angkor Wat native, Dara Kong grew up learning about the world from local schools and university. As part of his doctorate program he visited Australia to study the aboriginals living there and their historical magical traditions. While there he was trapped in a mana storm which mutated his reptile generic structure, embellishing his earlier lizard roots. The most extreme change, his normally vestigial arms grew and expanded, not to fully functional limbs, but enough that modern cybernetic technology could complete the job. With his new appendages and his completed doctorate, Dara has decided to engage in a case study of the Seattle metroplex and the Shadow runner culture that has developed there. With the help of his comrade Naga and now fixer, Axolotl, he joins the Shadow Haven assuming the nom de plume, Coil.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

Changling Class 3 -Metagenetic Improvement (Logic) - The surge augmented his natural predisposition towards logical thinking. -Prehistoric Lizard(Shiva Arms 1, Thermal Sensitivity, Vomeronasal Organ, Scales, Striking Skin Pigmentation) -

            The mana storm has awakened dormant lizard generic code within his structure, leaving him with stronger lizard senses and partially regrowing his limbs and amplifying his reptile look well beyond the norm for his kind.

College Education - Dara has spent some time is various schools, learning what he can from the other meta humans and growing his own knowledge of the universe. He now has a PHD in magical studies. Trust Fund 1 - Naga society has a vested interest in growing their knowledge of the outside world and Dara is part of that, as a result the nation state pays for his living expenses abroad.

Negative

Changling Class 3 -Impaired Attribute (Reaction, Strength) - His newly regrown libs have left him feeling slightly crippled by the experience. Unable to control his body in ways he once could. -Symbiosis - Some of his animalistic ties to nature have been amplified 10 fold by the mana storm leaving him yearning for stability in his environment. One born every minute - Dara is a big snake with little experience dealing with metahumans. As a result certain customs are over his head. Accident prone - These things you call arms are difficult to properly use. Some concepts such as driving are strange and difficult for him. Addiction Nova Coke(Mild) - Exposure to certain party drugs at college has left Dara a bit obsessed with Novacoke Addiction Psyche(Mild) - Like any good magician Dara uses a lot of psyche and it shows. Favored Biased, Naga - A naga for the betterment of all naga society is bound to display some Biases. Creature of Comfort (Middle) - Dara has grown accustomed to the reasonable accommodations granted by his time at college and doesn't like to slum it. Sinner Angkor Wat - Born and raised in Angjor Wat, Dara has a full national sin with the naga nation and is quite proud of it.
