Overview
A practitioner of what others may call 'Obeah' magic, Madame B is a fierce woman of unique background, motives, and beliefs. She has a syncretic view of magic, believing that God endowed people to dig deep and find their own power. She cites instances of the oppressed utilizing magic to rally and overthrow their oppressors, like old stories of Queen Nanny, and other great heroes. She will readily call her own spellwork 'Obia', should no one be listening, and generally believes that any action which moves the world closer to upheaval is inherently justified. She is definitely not evil, and even prefers to help rather than harm, but is dogmatic and convicted to the point of willful blindness.
Mrs. B is whip-smart, no-nonsense, and utterly unmoved by anything which doesn't (in her mind) matter.
Her late husband was a creole man from the heart of the CAS, and her adoptive daughter is the mostly unhinged runner Cheeto Dust.
