Overview
Artur was an immigrant from Poland. He lost his parents to the civil war during the sixties, and joined up with the local Vory to survive. When he was sixteen, he ended up moving to Seattle, joining with the Povryejhda Vory there. He was a Sheristroika, or bag man, until he was twenty-two. His friendliness and genuine concern for his fellow Vor despite the harsh life of a criminal left an impression on his superiors, and so he starting taking on the role of a fixer, dealing with outside elements connected to the Vory, including the hiring of runners. After a major run that provided tremendous benefit for the Russian petrochemical interests the Vory in Seattle are linked to, he was promoted for finding such solid shadow talent, making him the youngest Lideri in the Seattle Vory.
He has served in the position of a street ambassador since '75, and has been performing well ever since. After all, if he didn't, he wouldn't be alive.
Despite being an outgoing, friendly, and sociable person, Artur doesn't seem to have a life outside his work. He wears designer business clothing, and owns a nice condo in Tacoma, but doesn't seem to indulge in excesses like many Vory do. His fellows admire this diligence, loyalty, and work ethic. Others worry what he's really all about. Everyone's got a skeleton in the closet.
