Overview

Betz is a technomancer with an axe to grind against MCT. This is hardly something unique about her. What is unique is she was once an otaku, but she survived Crash 2.0. Her husband, a fellow otaku tribe member, suffered from AIPS in the time immediately following the Crash, which is how MCT got his biometrics. He was subject to rigorous testing under the guise of experimental AIPS treatments. He died in their "care," and Betz is more than willing to use her skills against MCT and any enemies of emergentkind.
