Summary

Doggie Bag is an infected Giant, born into a line of corporate middle managers and faux metahuman rights activists. He was a slacker in corp-funded school, and one of the rich kids who loved to play “street”. Now that he is infected, he is in for a rude awakening. He is a wannabe Street Samurai, a hulk of chrome and bone, but will be out of sorts until he has more running experience. In general, he is loathsome of his infection and his lost status within EVO, and hopes one day to return, even by force.

Mechanical Summary: D.B. is weak at the moment. He has decently high dodge (17/23) and soak (33), but pretty poor pools for his core skills of Sneaking and Automatics (9-10). His perception is moderate (14), and can go higher with additional modifiers.

Goals

• Learn magical basics for the purpose of self defense.

• Develop a relationship with a local Seattle power, organized crime or otherwise, to have a familiar villainous conglomerate to fall back on.

• Heavily ‘ware out in a search for a transhumanist kind of self acceptance.

1	“Doggie Bag” is an unknown quantity, assuredly a new player in the scene. You’ve heard the name thrown around in forum posts discussing local green runners. He has been on a few milk runs, but nothing to write home about.
3	D.B. is infected. He is known to share this information semi-willingly, for the express purpose of avoiding spreading that infection. Still, being something akin to an undead monster is sort of a reputation killer. He is perhaps surprisingly sapient, and seems if anything, obsessed with self control and avoiding HMHVV’s spread.
5	D.B. has been running since mid ‘84, having been picked essentially on the side of the road. He was originally even more grotesque, having been the victim of some horrific medical experiments. His limbs were replaced perhaps to create a more (meta)human-like form. D.B. is slightly brash, and stinks of pent up frustrations with his situation. Fine to have on the easier jobs, but he’ll need to get his head screwed on straight before he’s ready for the real stuff.

Appearance

Infection has radically altered D.B.’s look, turning him from an average looking and overall palatable Giant (rather humanlike, in terms of Trolls). Nowadays, he is more monstrous than even the ugliest troll, sinewy and uneven. He is mostly covered with dermal plating, heavy and bumpy, it covers a large majority of his body. His skin only shows between these larger plates, being a fleshy connective tissue, more akin to membrane or thinly layered muscle. At some joints, bones protrude beyond their connection points, interlocking with the dermal plates. He is overall a mixture of flat tans and grays. D.B.’s face is strangely gaunt, hollow cheeks and sunken eyes. He looks deathly ill, bony and unsettling. In general, these looks are something he is extremely insecure about and uncomfortable with, so he will be heavily clothed at essentially all times.

Clothing

D.B. is, whenever possible, heavily clothed. This will help slightly to mitigate his sunlight allergy, but is mainly a choice of vanity. He is not willing to present himself truthfully, he is of course, a monster. Generally, he is wearing a few layers of normal clothes, with a hood, sunglasses and neck gaiter covering the bulk of his face. He has a large sweatshirt pulled up over his head, and a jacket on top of that in combat situations. Even his hands are generally gloved to hide the cold chrome underneath.
