Mac was born and raised in New Orleans, a bit of a misfit his whole life. An uptown kid with tendencies for street life and second lines. As the Loa beckoned Mac found himself at odds with not only the zobop and blood magician presence along the gulf coast, he struggled to fit in with his own tradition, leaning more towards younger and more modern loa than traditionalists tended to serve. Eventually he hit the road to California where he failed to gain Horizon's attention and washed up north to the Emerald City to build a life for himself where he blends in as well as all the other freaks.

his abilities to join the security team that patrolled the borders of the Cult's compound.He learned the majority of
his magical practice from another Adept of a similar mindset out on the boundary work who understood his magical mindset
better than any of the cult's training had managed to stick. Ultimately this would put Eldin
on the bordergrounds of the cult compound when the PCC government raided it on suspicion of Blood Magic infiltrators joining it.
In the surrounding chaos Eldin did find himself beset by a few blood spirits and assisting the PCC who informed him
'after the fact he was in fact, a citizen, in the Anexation of Los Angeles, and allowed him to start a new life for himself.
