She miscarries and is very sick. When she finally comes through, something strange has happened. Deus? has affected her. Her body can now "feel" the matrix. Monica was for trapped for a while in the matrix and when she woke up, her abilities got even stronger. She somehow still succeeds to hide this from Transys Erika. | |||

She knows a bit what her employer (and probably other corps) are doing to technomancers and do everything she can to avoid being detected. Ashamed she can't help those poor people being experimented on, Monica avoids most work directly related to the Resonance. Her dislike for the corps grows, but she stays for her childrens sake. | |||
