ShadowHaven Reloaded:PC Page Creation Guide

You've created your beautiful new Runner, now it's time to craft a wiki page to show them off.

Creation

The first thing you need to do is to go to http://www.shadowhaven.info/RUNNER_NAME

Change the URL to your character's name (hit enter to go there), then hit the link on the top right side called "Create source"

Basic outline

I've included a premade outline for you to use.

Navigate to Template:Player_Character and hit "Edit source" there as well

Copy the entire contents of the template, and paste it into your upcoming page.

Editing

The first section on the template is called the Infobox. Fill in the top section based on your character's name, archetype, et cetera.

If you want to change the bottom parts of the infobox, you can change the label = x and data = x to show whatever you'd like to see.

The only necessary fields are Priorities, and a link to a Google Drive or Dropbox folder that have your pdf and chummer/herolab sheet. The format for the link is [ http://url.com link_text ]

Photo Upload

To upload your photo, navigate to Special:Upload. Upload the file there from your computer, then copy the last part of the new url. (File:Pic_Name.jpg)

Paste that part into the top part of the infobox, replacing the Placeholder.jpg

Main Page

Based on the headings, fill in the data for your character. Flesh it out as much as you can, but don't worry if it's sparse to begin. Your character should develop as it's played, so just come back later and fill it in as you figure them out.

For Contacts, you have three options:

• Use public contacts, you can browse them here
• Create your own contacts, and fill in their details, using the the Contact Rules
• You can create the backstories for your contacts, and post them on the Contacts thread on the main ShadowHaven subreddit. A volunteer will fill in the details for you.

Whichever way you do it, contacts must be completely filled out before they can be used in a run.

Basic Formatting

Italicized words are done by putting two (not a double) single quotes around the ''word or phrase''

Bolded words are done by putting three quotes around the '''phrase'''

Bolded and italicized words are done by adding five quotes around the '''''phrase'''''

• To make bullet points, put a single asterisk at the start of the line

• • or do two, I won't judge

Internal links to other wiki pages, such as your fleshed out contacts, (which you have, right?) are done by putting double brackets [[Contact_Name]] around the name

External links have the format [ url.com link_text]
