Overview

Born as Tahir Isfahani, Terry is known by two names, neither of which are his real first name. Terry he earned living in the London suburbs, the son of a Pakistani immigrant and an Englishman. It was here that Terry picked up his love for sports - football at first, but as he looked to the greener pastures of America, he discovered a love for American football as well. He was something of a hooligan even into his adulthood, ending up in sports riots. This love for angry crowds extended further in his late 20s - rather than just getting angry at who was wearing which colors, he started actively protesting against metatype prejudice. Of course, he could still be found out with the boys on Saturday nights after the big games, causing a ruckus.

You don't spend as much time in riots and protests as Terry without getting into contact with the real bad folk. Not the people who come outside waving banners and signs, but the ones that stuff rags into bottles of high-grain alcohol and carry brass knuckles in their pockets. Turns out Terry got along pretty well with them, and before long, Terry found himself building up a network in the London underground. His little corner store turned out to be the perfect front for a black market trade in weapons and drugs.

Still, beautiful London couldn't keep Terry satisfied. The black market was profitable, but Terry had his sights set on bigger fish. He was in his mid-30s when he exchanged the green fields of Avalon for Seattle, UCAS. Turns out once you know how to reach the underbelly in one town, you know how to do it in all of them. Terry opened up a new store, this time in Everett, and went back to selling crisps and apples over the counter - and brass knuckles and novacoke under it.

Selling drugs and weapons in Seattle leads to a different crowd than the hooligans and rioters that he was used to. Oh, he probably had a runner in the store once or twice back in London, but never as much as in Seattle. What started as leaving notes and messages for other runners turned into arranging tasks and jobs, and before he knew it, Terry was making a pretty penny off acting as a fixer. It was a lot safer than running trade in illegal goods, too - though of course, he still did so. His little corner store and self-made fixer business soon earned him the nickname "The Biz". The contacts even made it a lot easier to hook up with the right folks when the Seahawks lost another game...
