Summary

Cherry's Shakes was about to open in a few days. Not everything had yet been installed and tested perfectly, this led to the owner, Cherry, locking herself into a meeting room and Sizzles freeing her.

Background

Sizzles happened to be at the place and have the right skills to help since he was waiting for the person who had installed the lock that backfired. That person was so out of it, that it left without saying goodby and not finishing the job properly.

The Meet

Sizzles was waiting for an acquaintance who owed him money to finish some work at Cherry’s Shakes, so that Sizzles could get paid. When Sizzles heard a loud knocking on one of the back-rooms, he realized that Cherry was locked in and the friend who had installed the lock had left. Sizzles offered Cherry to hack the maglock to let her out.

The Plan

Sizzle jumps into the first lock hot since the treat is very low.
Sizzle jumps into the second lock hot with slightly higher risk, but because of the temporary nature of the lock, he is fairly safe.
Sizzle plays a mage on one of the simulators in the basement, for fun.

The Run

Cherry accepted the offer and Sizzles went to work and opened the door. When Cherry tried to open the door to the basement, she realized that ‘the locksmith” had handed mistakenly swapped her key-card with his and left with her car. Since the locksmith was not possible to reach, once again Sizzles was asked to help. This time with a higher stake, since the basement of Cherry’s Shakes is of reputable security. Luckily, the construction at Cherry’s hadn’t completed yet, and the lock was temporary with normal security level instead of military grade which would have been expected.
After Sizzles successfully hacked the lock, Cherry gave him a tour of the basement which is an arcade like training ground with simulators and shooting range. Sizzles was offered to jump into one of the simulators, in which he played a mage who cold cast spells and saved a captured princess.
Sizzles left Cherry's Shakes with a bigger smile than when he came, even though his acquaintance stiffed him.

Aftermath

All in all, Sizzles had a fun morning, got a delicious shake and a burger before he left and even got offered a 9 to 5 job at Cherry’s gaming development business if he ever wants to retire the shadows.

Game Quotes

Player After Action Reports (AARs)

Sizzles Cherry's quite a sweetie! I gotta wonder where all her capital comes from - but who can be suspicious when munching on such a delicious burger!

Serious note to self: the tech they've setup in the basement is frosty. Somebody rolling in outta nowhere with all this bling and shiny tech? It begs curiosity. What's her angle? Is she just a capitalist, thinking there's a market here? Or is she some kind of talent developer? Or just someone with too much money coming down from the mountain to slum it and play out her funny ideas? I'll spend some time scraping the corners to see if I can come up with any answers. Later. After I finish this milkshake.
