“Revenge is the best way to get even.”
-Archie Bunker

Some say the best revenge is living well, but that's not the case for Mr. Benson Bunnish - a wealthy man with a very comfortable life who has quite the axe to grind with his former business school classmates. But Bunnish is no murderer; no, he thinks death is too good for his enemies. Instead, he wants to destroy their lives, and to this end he's decided that ShadowHaven will be the instrument of his revenge.

Factions

Benson Bunnish

A retired business magnate with a decade-long grudge and millions of nuyen in the bank with which to pursue it, Bunnish has a list of enemies who he wishes to see come to ruin: careers sabotaged, marriages broken up, reputations destroyed - whatever it takes to make those who he believes have wronged him suffer. Having seen first-hand how effective shadowrunners are as tools of one's will in the corporate world, Bunnish has chosen to use them exact his vengeance, carrying out personalized plans to burn every last one of his targets to the ground.

Bunnish lives on a private estate outside of San Francisco, and insists that his prospective employees visit him in person - he doesn't want to leave any middle-men as loose ends or have conversations over the Matrix traced back to him.

Goals

  • Exact revenge against his former classmates; a quick death is too good for them, Bunnish instead wants their lives ruined beyond hope of repair.

The Targets

A motley crew of Stanford class of '75 grads who have gone on to have lucrative careers in the corporate world, Bunnish's classmates ran the gamut from rich corp kids to really rich corp kids. Thanks to their wealthy influential families, elite networking opportunities, and ruthlessness in the dog-eat-dog capitalist world, they've managed to climb the ladder to positions of influence and prestige. To varying degrees they could be said by runners to "deserve" their incipient fates, but that doesn't mean they're going to make it easy to tear down what they've built.

The Enemies List: [Work in progress - current plan is to have one person from each corporation, with other GMs free to add to the list as they like.]

Goals

  • Avoid having their lives ruined by Bunnish; while few of them even remember him, as time goes on they'll become more aware someone is after them.
