Background

Ninkasi was originally born Clara Jaeger. Born to two Saeder-Krupp corporate citizens, she was given a life of privilege and comfort from the very beginning. She was afforded safety living in the Tempelhof arcology, and she was given a level of stability and privilege many in never had access to. Her family was supportive and encouraged her to excel in her own way, and from a young age, Clara made a point to stand out and excel. She did exceptional in her classes and combined her academic performance with a constant and consistent effort in extracurricular activities. Gymnastics, drama club, soccer, science club…she maintained a full schedule throughout her entire life, shaping herself into an athletic, intelligent, personable and outgoing person with a wide array of skills and abilities. It was only natural that the corporation that employed her parents took an interest in Clara and offered her many options to engage with the company.

Clara kept herself out of trouble in college and expanded her skills and abilities with a major in electronic communications, and a minor in classical studies, and so when it was time to enter the working world, Saeder-Krupp was there with an offer. Clara possessed the skills and abilities to become a solid intelligence analyst the company reasoned, and so Clara was made an offer.

Taking the offer, Clara joined Saeder-Krupp and soon found herself working in a fast-paced corporate environment, analyzing corporate finances, investigating financial fraud and verifying corporate SIN’s, and building herself a solid body of work and slowly working her way up the corporate ladder. She gave her best to the company, and there was an offer of a full corporate SIN on the table if she kept her work up. Then it all went wrong. Clara was investigating a Saeder-Krupp construction project in the Bavarian Free State. She found a variety of discrepancies, and before she could bring the matter to the attention of her supervisors, she was already facing strange and damning accusations featuring doctored evidence of crimes she’d committed against the company. Someone, she’s not even 100 percent sure who burned her for getting too close to unveiling their own crimes.

Clara was not easy to get rid of though. Evading capture, she managed to escape the dragnet trying to bring her in, and fell into the shadows, using her skills to save her bacon and earn herself safe passage to Seattle, where she was able to go to ground and start rebuilding her life. Taking a name from her classical studies as a runner name, she now runs the shadows, trying to rebuild her life, and get revenge on Saeder-Krupp for burning her, while also finding the person responsible for ruining her life.

Appearance

Clara is of average height, with a toned, athletic build that has been built by gymnastics, endurance sports and regular vigorous exercise and wellness activities such as yoga. She keeps her hair cut short and tends to be fastidious about her appearance, makeup and other small details about her appearance, making sure to keep herself well groomed and highly presentable. She dresses in business clothes, wearing her Mortimer of London dress and great coat whenever possible, both as a status symbol and as a way to elevate her social performances.

Ninkasi represents herself online with a highly stylized avatar based on a classical Greek or Roman statue.
