Character Information

Summary

Elvie is a dryad fashion model and, somewhat incongruously, a former member of a DocWagon HTR team.

She was scouted by a modelling agency after a particularly high profile rescue of an Aztlan governor, from a group of Humanis thugs who fancied themselves shadowrunners.

It was both better and easier money, plus it played to her natural talents. But modelling didn't hold the same kind of thrill that HTR missions did, so she began to dabble in Shadowrunning and immediately felt right at home.

Background

The daughter of a retired Japanese SWAT officer and an Aztlan doctor, Elvie was born and raised in Aztlan until after highschool. She emigrated to the UCAS for college, where she got her degree Applied Thaumaturgy at Columbia. After college her interest in simulated combat drove her to get a job at DocWagon, initially as a healer at one of their clinics in NYC. After expressing her interest in the HTR team, and demonstrating her aptitude in simulations, she began proper combat and field medicine training and was ultimately selected for a team.

Her parents were both proud of her choice of career, her father gifted her a custom ballistic mask shaped to look like a kitsune mask; it was the armor he wore in his SWAT days.

She worked for Doc Wagon for 20 years; passing up a number of opportunities for promotion that would have seen her back in the clinic full time.

Until the day came that her team received an emergency code from a Super-Platinum member.

A particularly well coordinated Humanis team successfully abducted a Tir Tangiran lordling from his motorcade; So well coordinated they knew to cut out the biotracker, but not so well coordinated that they knew of a recently installed, biomonitor-linked DocWagon tracker, which put out the call and Elvie's team rolled into action.
