Summary
Laissez les bon temps rouler (let the good times Roll) Gambit is most happy when he has grease on his hands, and a well repair vehicle or drone humming and responding to his mental commands.
Goals
Gambit is trying to establish him self as one of the best mechanic's in Seatle, but being new to the area has a steep hill to climb. He would love to retire from shadowrunning when he can move his shop into an AA sector and expand it to have bays for all vehicles and drones.
In the short term, he wants to find a sponsor for the local Drone racing circuit and start climbing the rankings.
Background
Flash back to April 1 2083. Things were looking great for Mathieu he had a job he loved even if he was a wageslave, he got to work and all the vehicles for Enviroteck (sub of Shiawase). The day things when side ways... was amazing day until it was not. Like many times before, a vehicle would come in for a last minute lube and maintenance before an other department would take off to a different city, most of the time they came in empty, but very rarely they would be loaded and ready to head out. Today was one of those such days, the driver dropped the rig off, gave me the work order and placed a pad lock on the back hatch and said under no certain terms was that to be opened. ration to the Exec's Just as he was finishing up, the garage doors were blow in and the room was rain in stun grenades. When he awoke in the medical facility hours later he learned that the Ares Roadmaster and its contents were gone, stolen by runners. Scapegoated and thrown to the curb, all my worldly possession packed into my Econovan, all in the matter of days.
Adrift uncertain what to do, went through my personal contacts, and reached out to Jackson Lee, a salvage yard operator that I had sourced parts for older drones for my racing habit in the past, he advised me to drive west to Seattle and he would help be set up shop, far from the cold shadow of Lyra Industries.
The Birth of Gambit:
Mathieu opened a small repair shop "Anfom li Tout Garaj" in Chrisphor Renton, but completely unready for the brutal rents, and slow business Mathieu started looking for side jobs to help fun his growing shop and for a way to get back into the expensive drone racing circuits. The wet driving rains, caused Mathieu to start wearing a long trench coat and his Creole accented English earned him the moniker Gambit and he has been running ever since under that Alias.
