Summary
Boss wants a special sandwich from a special deli. Because of gang-wars, the access to the deli is blocked. Shadowrunners are engaged to get the sandwich. The runners attack and intimidate the participants of a street-shootout and intimadet them to cease fire. This allows the runners to convince the deli shop owner to open the store and sell them a sandwich. The runners deliver the sandwich successfully to Miss Johnson.
Background
Boss wants a special sandwich from their special deli. The streets are blocked due to gang fights. No employee dares to get the sandwich, so they decide it's better to hire a runners than to deny the boss their wish.
The Meet
Miss Johnson asks Pasiphae, Lady Argentum, and Gulliver to come to a café in a mall in Auburn. For Gulliver who neither has a car, nor a SIN (fake or real), this is the first test. With the assistance of Lady Argentum, he gets to the mall and talks his way through the mall security check-point. At the meet, Miss Johnson explains the job: to get a special sandwich from a deli in Puyallup, and that this could prove difficult because of gang fights taking place on the street in front of the deli. The runners accept and even get Johnson to toss in a fake burner SIN for Gulliver to ensure hastle-free travels through town. After the meet, the runners head straight to Puyallup, towards the deli.
The Plan
The planning phase is short. Lady Argentum will attack the gangers and intimidate them into a sease fire. Pasiphae will do the same and at the same time body-guard Gulliver. Gulliver will try to not get shot at and cheer the fighters on.
The Run
The three runners skip leg-work and don't waste any time surveying the area and head straight towards the deli and into the middle of a shoot-out. They get out of the car, yell at the gangers to sease fire and try to look impressive. The gangers continue to shoot at each others as the runners join the fighting. Lady Argentum takes out one of the Mercury Dogs in a blody knife fight, Pasiphae knocks out two Rigged Stars and the gangers are intimidated enough to stop fighting.
As the runners have secured the gangers attention and obediance, they ask for the location of the deli and proceed undisturbed to the deli.
As they reach the deli, it is closed. Voices inside betray the people hiding behind the counter afraid of the gun fight that just happened outside.
The runners negotiate their way to being allowed to order a special sandwich, receive it, pay it and return to Auburn where Miss Johnson is waiting for the delivery in front of a corporate office building.
Delivery successful. Johnson happy. Runners less broke than before.
Aftermath
The Boss is happy and full from the sandwich and doesn't fire any employees that afternoon.
