Overview
Katya Von Roseward grew up in Germany and went to school at Univerzita Karlova. She studies in the same halls as Schwartzkopf. She majored in history and had a mostly active and solid schooling track, save for when writing her thesis, there was rumors of and even an investigation into potential claims of plagiarism. While there was no clear truth to the matter, she was eventually cleared of all accounts of academic malfeasance, the idea that she had stuck with her, stunting much of her career track within the university. She immigrated to Seattle legally to join a pen pall she had found while in highschool, Monica Faulkner, who she had been sending books to that she read. Eventually, her pen pal and doctorate in magical history created a chain of events that led her to start working for both for the Draco Foundation and the Pinehurst Memorial Library Team.
At the Draco Foundation, she focusses on containing data related to blood magic, shadow spirits, and other major astral threats. At the Pinehurst Memorial Library, she seeks to secure and protect magical information that could be useful to the public, or otherwise doesn't merit containment.
