Summary

Deep Sea industrial diver turned cyborg, turned eco terrorist.

Nautilus will never help with causing environmental damage on a job. If he sees the opportunity to sabotage those polluting he may decide to seize it. That potentially includes sabotaging the job. That's not to say he'll never work for the big 10. If the job is environmentally good/neutral he is likely to do it. (and use the money to sabotage later)

Background

Eric Kirsch, born to an SK family in '48, was always fascinated with the ocean. Doubly so with the deep dark, almost inaccessible to metahumanity. I mean, a place on earth, that's harder to survive in than space, but also filled with bizarre lifeforms? After school, he went to University, studied Marine Biology and acquired various diving certificates on the side. A few years and some underwater augments later he was on an SK payroll, with the task of repairing oil platforms, building pipes and so on as an industrial diver.

SKs push for ever harder-to-reach resources leading to a bigger demand for deep-sea operatives, with more capabilities than an ordinary drone or sub. Eric was one of the few deemed fitting for adaptation into a full cyborg suit and thus underwent the necessary procedures for the transformation. When he was first connected to a virtual motor control simulation, after becoming a cyborg, it was discovered that the surgeries caused extensive damage to his memories. It was as if he never worked as a diver. Never went into the deep dark. Never welded a gas pipe. In short: the only thing left was theoretical knowledge from his studies. Thanks to modern skillsofts he was still able to do what he needed to, and a few weeks later he found himself on the bottom of the Challenger Deep. Mostly as a test and showcase, but he enjoyed it nonetheless.

However, there was something wrong with this place. And not just this place, but every place Eric went to. And it struck a nerve. Seeing the signs of human waste and pollution at the place that was most representative of what he loved ate him up over the next few months.

He planned, prepared, and eventually, he escaped. A sabotaged deep sea drill was left as a parting gift. In the next 2 years, he meets some like-minded people in TerraFirst! which helped him hide and get by in the Hamburg underground scene. But when SK found out about his involvement in an attack that led to the destruction of an oil platform in the North Sea, he had to skip town in a hurry. With the help of Chloe, he settled down in Seattle, where he is now running the shadows to replace the gear he had to leave behind and continue his mission.

Black Market Pipeline + Dealer Connection (Hextech) - As someone who works quite a bit with non-standard anthro drones, Hextech is quite a helpful name on his list.

Solid Rep TerraFirst! - He was majorly involved in exploding an SK oil platform in the North Sea, and news made their rounds in these circles.

Negative

Wanted by SK for 100k - Ecoterrorism sure is a thing they don't like to see.

Prejudice Corpos Radical - If you uphold a system that seeks to exploit the planet, then there is not much I can tell you. If you actively work against those practices, then we can talk.

Malware Infection - A decker almost got him on one of his endeavours, and there is some virus left on his system he just can't seem to get rid off.
