Background
Shano Yumi returned to Seattle after 4 tours to live a peaceful life, but his wife and 6 year old daughter was caught in the crossfire of gang violence exacerbated by Erich Burcham, a Horizon journalist. Shano kidnapped Erich and was holding him ransom until Horizon revealed their predatory journalistic practices.
Meet
The meet took place in the Columbia Center in Downtown Seattle. Runners met with Mr. Tanaka who gave them details on their target as well as promised 72k nuyen with 10k upfront.
Run
After the meet, runners started legwork through Matrix Searches on Erich and Shano as well as physical legwork in the Barrens which revealed to them the backstories of Erich and Shano. They fine him in a bolthole in Puyallup and make their way there. Once present however, the runners decide to alter their plan and work with Shano to undermine Horizon. They negotiate a new reward with 24k in gear and make sure that Erich confesses in full (COMPEL TRUTH) before giving his testimony to a databroker.
Aftermath
Horizon suffered a big PR hit in Seattle with stories trending concerning their predatory practices. Millions were lost in shares and Catherine Koerner was swiftly... removed.

"We were hired for one thing, but did a 180 and did the opposite of what we were hired to. So the meet was nothing special, Horizion shells selling a job to us. Bring back a journalist who apperently had gotten himself captured. We began doing our legwork to figure out where the mark was located and after taking our time around the crime sceen and on the matrix. It all led us to where he was hidden, and who had taken him. Apperently Ucas Ranger Vet named Shano Yumi. When we got to their fortified hideout and was confronted with both a warning shot and a drone to mask their true position, we began having a change of hearts. We got the story from Shano and asked to help him with revealing the truth of what this "journalist" was doing. We unloaded our weapons and stept forward unarmed to greet Shano face to face and talked a bit to him. After some face to face talk we got to the part of their problem we had agreed to help with, one of us was a mage who happend to have the spell "compel truth" handy. Then the only question was someone who didnt mind ruining this mans life, which i took upon myself to do to its full extent. And we got all of it aswell, all his grimey secrets and fraggen works, even who he worked for. After i had done my part Shano wanted to drop him off in turist vill after the story "leaked" but i.. I commandered some sense into him. We may have failed the run, but to me we succeeded in being human"
