Background

Molly Bernann started out as many do in a corporate life, with parents part of it and raising her to one day join in. And that's exactly what she did, learning how to traverse the matrix as an up and coming Security Spyder like her father. During her training, she Awakened to her magic as an adept, and used that to help her prowess on the Matrix. It also fueled her growing contempt for Technomancers of all kinds, viewing them as nothing more than cheating bastards. Not long after she awakened, Molly’s younger brother Adam was born, and she vowed to look after him, no matter what happens.

Once becoming old enough to work for Wuxing, Molly took to her Spyder duties with diligence. Rising to a mid-level position guarding an outpost. While she was guarding the facility, Technomancers launched an infiltration attempt. Unknown to Molly, these Technos were hired by Wuxing to act as security testers. With this information withheld and her burning hatred for Technos, Molly ripped her way through them, leaving 1 of them with their synapses fried. The other two were hunted down to where they were diving in from, still tied up in all the IC being thrown at them. Physically seeing them, she finally got a call from her Manager, saying not to kill these other two technos. She promptly ignored him, and gave into the rage that had overcome her, the Berserker she took as a mentor spirit egging her on to slaughter the cheating weaklings.

Upper Management was not happy about this and gave her the boot and a 3 day head start to try and get the hell out of dodge with her brother Adam in tow. While they might not get along all the time, Molly does her best to watch out for him, even if he resents her for losing her cool and forcing them on the run.

That was 4 months ago. Now, Shine-Spark’s about to make her big break into the Shadowhaven, and hopefully redeem herself in the eyes of Wuxing.
