Summary

A Do Gooder Mr. Johnson with just 12K to his name sees a couple posts of a troll family in a Snohomish Sundown town and suggests the runners do some sabotage while they're there

Background

The runners received a call at 4:30PM at the Bellevue Snohomish border and enter a club where the J is one of the few people present.

The Meet

Despite the lack of payment the group accepted the rescue and sabotage mission and were most grateful for the J writing off most expenses within reason. The water tower was the only objective disagreed upon as Cricket thought it was going too far despite the town's reputation.

The Plan

The plan was to rent a truck through Rise Up's leader and take the semi into the town, and rescue the troll families before turning their sights on the bank and getting through it and Behemoth spoked to the Dweller in the Deep to find a house for the families to wait in

The Run

Ranch - The party after researching and finding out that the groups harassing the trolls at night were a ragamuffin goof-troupe Cricket decided that they should be ambushed in the tree line. After putting her head together with Behemoth they figured out that most of the humanis goons were hiding wireless off and speaking to their leader who was the only one wireless on. Cricket demolished his comm's defenses and sent a fake text to group them up for an Ambush. And Scarecrow and Behemoth descended on them, demolishing them with F12 Punches and Behemoth's raw strength. In moments each of the humanis harassers were dispatched, with Scarecrow blasting one into the water before fishing him out and Behemoth subduing and manachoking an adept before getting a confession and intimidating them into turning themselves in.

Commune- A much larger group using a similar tactic sent a fire spirit to watch the group, and despite their advantages, the group decided to engage Humanis rather than grab the family and go. The second verse as similar to the first in that they attacked the spirit, and as the group started tact-walking towards the house Cricket squelched the commlink, and Scarecrow and Behemoth ran up on the group as they turned on the wireless. In less than three seconds several of them humanis goons were unconscious and the leader called a retreated after the first gun got slagged. Behemoth used her luck and driving etiquette to portray themselves as the meek and mild-mannered visiting groups and even got the first guard into town to swear up and down they were innocent

Bank - Rather than electing to hack in and stealth in Behemoth obliterated the wall and scared the singular guard near to death after Cricket looped the cameras and turned off the alarms and Scarecrow tore the watcher spirit apart. The singular guard next received a text from Cricket stating for him to surrender, and that he did and as they cleared out the safety deposit boxes just as an alarm went up. The entire small town was ready to descend upon the heist when Cricket in a stroke of luck subverted the infrastructure and confused their pursuers beyond their ability to pursue

Aftermath

The small bank was robbed and its contents are given away in the OU. The two families stay in the OU for a few weeks ad the runner's contacts attempt to find them troll-friendly neighbourhoods to relocate to.
