Faction Information
The Grey are an alien themed street gang utilizing magic and genetech to turn themselves into what humanity once considered "an alien." They use spirits of man and wild spirits of man that have slipped the leash to possess rank and file members, or be channeled by high potency and leadership members. The grey have been slowly growing in the underbelly of San Francisco and Los Angeles since the Twins, and meticulously expanding to surrounding major metroplexes with 50 member "Drop Ships" arriving to set up in unclaimed neighborhoods.
Summary
The enigmatic "Dr. Grey" started using transgenics, cosmetic and biological modification to turn metahumanity into something else, bastardized versions of popular aliens from media and the human zeitgeist from the fifth world. The gang operates as many other street gangs do, despite their outrageous appearance and atypical methodology. Moving into an area, claiming a territory and beginning to run protection rackets, crime and drugs out of the neighborhood all while pushing a narrative of "Assimilation to the Grey Collective."

Background
One time Horizon plastic surgeon Thadeus Grey concealed the depths of his awakened through Horizon's takeover of Fun Town and eventual explosion into the big ten. At the same time, Dr. Grey failed over and over again to get a script sold involvining classic tropes of American Science fiction like Grey Aliens, men in black, and other X files seeming tropes. Grey did, however, gain the attention of several spirits of man, including a number of free spirits of man who had slipped the leash over the years, all deeply representative of the same tropes he recognized as having a certain psychological power. When the twin earthquakes hit, he had a minor psychotic break, fled the coop and seeing "The Steppin' Wulf's" development, he knew he could do better. The charismatic Psion magician turned doctor started finding acolytes to believe in his "Assimilation" narrative into the "The Grey" and has been recruiting off the streets in several metroplexes for years and perfecting the surgeries that bring his acolytes in line with the spirits they serve.
