Summary

Decombe is a Maersk Courier by trade operating on the eastern seaboard. He specialises in physical infiltration, information gathering, and incognito decking.

Goals

For now, avoid an organisation he knows as the 'Eyes Behind The World' he believes to be chasing him for his involvement with the package, known in Berlin as 'Wächter'. Acquire skills, contacts, funds, information, and keep quiet until he can make a difference. Until he can drag them out into the light, or kill every last one of them.

Background

Jonathon was born in Tir Na Nog to German parents who were in EVA, making his way to first Berlin, then Seattle for work and wanting his own path in life after one of his parents were killed during an unknown experiment. He translated his hobby for biking into a steady courier job with Maersk running packages from the Seattle Docks to customers where the package required slightly higher security and subtle delivery than a standard drone with lower risk of hacking, but not so high security that it needs an armed escort or a professional team. One day he was hired to deliver a package to someone and it ended with the Johnson, the safehouse, his friends, and even the client all destroyed or dying in horrific ways. He dropped into the shadows to avoid being next, burning his SIN and learning how to become a decker to stay one step ahead of his invisible enemies. He continues to run packages in a secure way when he needs a little cash, now a disposable asset instead of an employee- his primary motivation for earning money being the ability to pay off his info broker to give him information about conspiracies of interest and plot some kind of revenge.

Appearance

Looking a bit taller than he actually is owing to a thin frame and rather gaunt features- masculine handsome, but looking quite tired nearly all of the time. His appearance is overly careful, hair tied back tightly and fingernails clipped quite short, though he always wears covering clothing and gloves. He has a faintly sour smell about him from pocketing burnt out cigarettes instead of throwing them away.
