Summary
Whirlwind recovers some stolen weapons for her contact to cover up the theft.
Background
Lt. Babbage's unit had some weapons actually misplaced, not the usual 'misplaced', and an investigation was launched. She discovered that the weapons had been sold to a gang in the Redmond Barrens, and asked Voice of the Whirlwind to retrieve the weapons for her.
The Meet
Lt. Babbage asked Whirlwind to meet her at a café in Downtown, and bought Whirlwind some breakfast as she outlined the problem. She gave Whirlwind the location of the gang's hideout, and Whirlwind set off to 'have a talk' with the gangers.
The Plan
Whirlwind's 'plan' was limited to finding the weakest door in the gang's hideout.
The Run
After a few tries, Whirlwind broke her way into the hideout, killing the Barghest on guard before it could react.
Hearing footsteps upstairs, Whirlwind snuck up the stairs, heavily injuring one of the gangers in an ambush, then taking several glancing blows from a ganger with a shotgun and effortlessly dodging the mage's lightning bolts as they fought back.
After she killed those three, Whirlwind heard a grenade bouncing down the stairs from above and hurriedly ran away, climbing her way up the damaged stairs after the grenade had went off. Embroiled in a fight for her life with the three more experienced gangers, Whirlwind killed one, knocked one unconscious and heavily injured the third before being worn down by repeated bursts and knocked unconscious herself. Luckily, the remaining ganger chose to evacuate her surviving comrade rather than finish her off.
After recovering from her injuries enough to move, Whirlwind found a safehouse where she could ride out the drug crashes.
Aftermath
Whirlwind returned the weapons to Elizabeth, who thanked her and assured Whirlwind that she could come up with a story to cover up the one assault rifle that she failed to recover. Whirlwind then went home to pass out in her bed and recover from her injuries.

Wow, that was exhilarating! I guess it goes to show that enough wolves can bring down a bear, if they're skilled and lucky enough. Lucky for me that the last one decided to grab her mate and bugout instead of finishing me off. Anyways, it's always nice to work for Lizzie directly, and it's always nice to work in the Barrens with no-one to bother you when you bring out the toys.
