Summary
Quinn Connoway's getting real sick of the Finns looking bad. He'd really, really like to take a swing at his enemies in the Yaks, and when the local boys prove they aren't up to task he calls in runners to do some dirty work for him.
The Meet
Oberon, Gremlin, Docteur Vega and Brokkr all have their peaceful evenings ruined by their crime phones ringing, and a request to meet at a bar called Patty's. Upon creeping in the back, the group meets up with the J, a Mr. C and his shadow, a maid who looks eerily similar to Bleach. Mr. C explains he wants a man dead, with only him in the building. Everyone else, and their pets, must be removed, without the fire alarm (specifically EMS) being alerted, for 10 minutes. The guards will be collateral if needed. And to ignore the bread truck. Or, for bonus points, to simply tie up the target in his penthouse suite.
The Run
Brokkr begins to check out the building via drone (thanks to Oberon's directions), noting the general layout, but also a few key details; the target, Ken Kazuki, had been hit recently, and the group was discussing in Japanese how anyone attempting to try something would be stopped in the lobby or on the streets. While Vega digs into Ken's life and any allergies the building's occupants may have, Brokkr notices an expensive art piece decorative sword. It occurs to the group that simply stink bombing, stinking out the building's HVAC system would allow them to empty out the building while preventing an EMS call.
While Dr. Vega synthesizes the perfect stink, Oberon and Gremlin discuss how to get into the building. Gremlin, having been turned into a creature before by Oberon, opts for becoming something small to go through the vents and get up onto the roof to gear that Brokkr can stash out of sight of the camera. After being squirrelified, the nocturna gang pile into the back of Brokkr's roadmaster taxi with Vega. With some use of Grecko Crawl, the white squirrel and the neon green squirrel begin to scale the building. Vega hops into the host, looking for the HVAC sensor systems, realizing upon finding them that they need to be tampered with to allow the stink bombs in. The fluffy gang, having finished scaling the building, nearly miss being spotted by a guard. The guard spots the drone, who simply flies off while the two street sams enter the building. Choosing to use the balcony, Gremlin makes the jump across, and Oberon does not. Quickly, the white furred nocturna casts gecko climb to catch himself. Vega distracts the building's guards by accusing one of the building's children of continuing their prankster rampage. Hunkering down to wait for the target to enter the bedroom, Oberon spots a spirit who seems to be hanging around Ken. It's then decided Vega should spoof a notification of one of Ken's devices in his room, to draw him up earlier than his bedtime so the two elves can have a talk with him.
Pouncing on the mark and the spirit, they surprise both Ken and Spirit, Oberon pouncing upon the spirit and taking a bite out of crime, while Gremlin makes sure Ken knows how boned he is. Duct taping Ken to a chair, the call to Mr. C is made as the Drone drops the gas into the air vents. As stink begins to flood the building, the pair inside don their gas masks, and intimidate Ken into telling the guards he's fine, and will be right behind them. Finding out that the Finn's intent to burn the building down, they begin to plan their exit. After getting a few photos, both some professional and some unprofessional, Gremlin grabs the sword, and clinging to their gear, allows Oberon to become an Albatross and carry her off to safety.
Aftermath
The Barbell Apartments are burnt down by a remarkably fast-moving fire. Local fire companies insist that no accelerants were used. A shell company collects insurance money after the fire department is delayed by a crowd around the base of the place. Only one resident perishes in the fire, presumed to have slept through it.
Danny Greenlight gets out of a bit of trouble with a Finnigan debt collector. He's very grateful to Docteur Vega for helping him out.
Oberon is sad he got no snacks.

Gremlin: This was easy enough. I... Don't know how I feel about working for the Finns, but it dealt with some trash that has been building up on the streets. Sad sap never knew what was coming.
Brokkr: went pretty smoothly. not sure if the finally would be my way of handling it. but i have to admit, the Finns can put on one hell of a BBQ.
