Background

Born April 14th, 2062, in Richmond, Virgina, Joanna West is the fourth child of seven to a family of dedicated Ancients Nocturna. Like her grandmother, she was born with deep green fur, and because of this was seen as the least favorite by her parents. Growing up around the go-gang and her parents drug manufacturing on 'the farm' Joanna had to carve a niche for herself. Due to her love of hunting but also her love of tearing things apart, she was allowed to roam around the property acting as one part poorly trained grease monkey but also an early warning system to fire upon anyone not flying colors. As soon as she was old enough to get her patch, she did as her brothers and sisters had done before, and switched to helping forge documents to move people and pieces around and honed her skills as over watch.

Eventually around the age of 17, she realized that she was perhaps being smothered by staying in the rusting tin roof compound, and began bouncing up and down the east coast running with the Ancients, filling in and showing up to all hands calls regardless of how familiar she was with the city. It was after one of these calls she began dabbling with shadow running to break away and get a little bit of a more 'personal' identity, outside of the Ancients. She could be an Ancient, but all other Ancients saw was a southern girl who could shoot with little life experience. This ended up leading her to roam around Ancients active areas in the deeper parts of the CAS, running and pitching in where she could. Finally, she had put in enough work that someone suggested she head to Seattle, and open up her eyes to the world outside of the CAS. It was there at her the first all hands call, she stumbled into Grit, and has been following the other elf akin to a lost puppy--All of the excitement and energy of someone experiencing something new, tempered by what is 'proper' for a southern girl, intuition and stubborn refusal to listen to common sense if only out of spite.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

Nature Lover (Animal Empathy, Outdoorsman) - With the adoption of Bunbun, Gremlin has had a bit more time to get connected to nature, and wants to get more connected with her fluffy friend.

A Gremlin off the 'Trix (Adept, Agile Defender, Catlike, Keen-Eared, Low-Light Vision) - Gremlin, just like her namesake, is at best a nuisance, and at worse, a true night time menace. Quick and agile, she's learned that the best way to get the job is to get in and get out as fast as possible with as little interruptions as possible.

Mean and Green (Made Man) - Born and raised amongst the Ancients, Gremlin followed in the family footsteps to have her Full Patch as soon as possible.

Picture Perfect (Analytical Mind, Photographic Memory) - Good forgers aren't born, they're made. In Gremlin's case, she has a leg up in that department, no detail escapes her.

Small Town Gal (Honest Face, Sharpshooter, Shoot First Don't Ask) - Boredom breeds innovation, and in this Nocturna's case, a lot of practice shooting things that should be difficult to shoot, then blaming someone else.

Negative

Babyfaced (Bad Luck, Lightweight) - For someone born around crime, drugs, and alcohol, she has occasionally a really bad time with both.

Redneck (Hobo With a Shotgun) - Gremlin didn't grow up in the lap of luxury, and she sees no reason to waste money that could be going to her bike or her gun on frills like rent.

Guilty Conscience (No Man Left Behind) - You don't become the best in the biz by leaving people behind, no matter how much you want to.

Just Plain Fluffy (Nocturnal, Unusual Hair (Colored Fur), Allergy (Common, Mild, sunlight)) -- There's no way around this, Gremlin is a green furred Nocturna who utilizes a fair amount of bleach to make sure all of her is as close to Ancients green as she can get.
