Summary

Average Halloweener hires people to get cargo back.

Background

The Meet

Meet happened at an old abandoned roadside rest stop where the group met the J, doing some cooking of unknown variety and the J it self had a lively personality to say the least, the job it self was simple, get back as stolen vehicle and its cargo and kill the Ancients that stole it.

The Plan

the plan was to first stop the vehicle on the road by hacking into it by remote access, followed by the rest of the runner team taking out any guards around or in the vehicle.

The Run

intercepting the truck it self was simple, the car was hacked, the biker in front of the vehicle got taken out by a fireball and a second shot with a sniper rifle, after which taking out the remaining Ancients was simple enough work for the runners. one of the Ancients was taken captive, some information where extracted from them and one of the intact comms units, including a map for a minefield which was quite useful going into the compound the truck was meant to be taken originally. taking out the remaining Ancients at the compound was simple enough, at least one of the runners got a good dinner.

Aftermath

after the mission was completed (regardless of a minor hickup in the middle) the runners where paid and overall it was an interesting mix of characters.
