Page Formatting Templates

These should be some of the most commonly used templates, while not necessarily designed to be transcluded in pages, these templates are intended for users to copy the source code and paste that in to create a new page.

Contact

• Template:Contact
  • This is the template to be used when creating new run contacts.

Player Character

• Template:Player Character
  • This is the template to be used when creating new run PC pages.

Run AAR

• Template:Run AAR
  • This is the template to be used when creating new run AARs.

These are templates intended to be used on some of the pages created above.

Character Page Templates

RunHistory

• Template:RunHistory
  • This template does several things when placed on a character page.
    • Generates a list of runs.
    • Checks to see if the character has had a run in the past 6 months, and if so, adds them to Category:Active Runners. This becomes important with another template below.

ContactTable

• Template:ContactTable
  • This template generates a table for Template:HasContact to be nested inside. It is intended to be used on character pages.

HasContact

• Template:HasContact
  • This template will nest inside the table generated above, and will tag the contact using SemanticWiki markup so Template:ContactPlayerConnections will know to populate its table with the character's name, loyalty, and chips.
  • This template will also pull information from the contact page to populate the table.

Guanyin Caution

• Template:Guanyin Caution
  • This template generates a small warning on the top of a page informing GMs that the character has the Guanyin Mentor Spirit.

Contact Page Templates

ContactPlayerConnections

• Template:ContactPlayerConnections
  • This template, when placed on a contact page, will check Category:Active Runners for characters who have listed this contact on their character page using Template:ContactTable/Template:HasContact.

=AspectTable

• Template:AspectTable
  • This template will generate a table on contact pages for Template:PositiveAspect and Template:NegativeAspect to be nested inside.

=PositiveAspect

• Template:PositiveAspect
  • This template nests inside of the table generated above, and tags aspects for the contact using SemanticWiki markup.

=NegativeAspect

• Template:NegativeAspect
  • This template functions identically to the above Template:PositiveAspect, only it makes the text red so it stands out as a negative aspect.

GenerateAspectList

• Template:GenerateAspectList
  • This template is intended to go in the infobox of contact pages, usually in the data19 field. It will automatically generate a list of aspects from the aspects tagged by Template:PositiveAspect/Template:NegativeAspect and display them.

AAR Page Templates

GameQuote

• Template:GameQuote
  • This just makes a really pretty box you can write game quotes in. That's it. That's all it does. Exciting.
