Summary

Ikari's shadowrunning activity is generally informed by their Shinto leanings, which have led them to becoming a staunch environmentalist and Marxist anti-capitalist / corporatist. Their egalitarian attitude extends to their kami, who they loathe to bind. Ikari's principles compel them to avoid paying rent, opposed as they are to the very concept, but also to avoid producing emissions, which they accomplish by riding a bicycle everywhere. The side benefit of this is that Ikari doesn't have to bind to any particular area, which aside from being uncomfortable would probably depress them as they experienced directly the dilapidation of the sprawl.

Ikari, self-titled for the rage of the natural and spiritual world, tends to conserve their hatred for those who directly consist the corporate superstructure, and generally prefers not to use lethal force on those who they do not despise.

Background

Ikari, born to two superstitious salaryhumans in Western Japan, who as a result brought their "magical" child to a sequestered shrine before they were registered for a SIN, where after many years held in suspense they Awakened as a mage at the age of thirteen. From this young age, Ikari observed the slow degradation of the astral world as caused by the pollution of Japan, and used their meager matrix access to become politically conscious. Quickly become not only politically engaged but politically extreme, Ikari's violent magical reaction to the arrival of an esteemed corporate guest to the shrine resulted in their rapid expulsion not only from the shrine but, effectively, from the country as a whole. Thanks to their parents cosmopolitan employment and frequent visits, Ikari's knowledge of English allowed them to burn their scant savings on a one-way trip to the what they viewed as the world's center of criminal activity, Seattle.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Vampire (Non-Human) - A rarity even among the infected, Leviathan's HMVV Strain 1 expresses as vampirism.

Mentor Spirit (Shark) - Although his dark magic tradition does not necessarily revere animal spirits in-and-of-themselves, the cultural mark of the shark as an unthinking, unfeeling murder machine as depicted in movies like Jaws, which a young Benjamin watched with his family, and the use of the term to refer to decisive, unemotional actors makes it a perfect fit for a dark adept.

Catlike - Leviathan, as is usual for a killer of his type, needs to be stealthy to survive.

Illiterate - Leviathan grew up in a working-class family and worked under-the-table at a questionably-legal shipping operation. He, unusually for a troll, can't read.

Compulsive (Combat Monster)- Fighting makes Leviathan feel alive, and his ego rests on his prowess in combat. He finds it difficult as a result to flee from combat.

Wanted - The "Auburn Exsanguinator" has been the subject of a bit of coverage on the local news, and the city of Seattle has a sizable bounty on it. That's him.
