Overview
Liam Snow is the straw to Sarah's coke. He is the enabler of her lifestyle and all its benefits and detriments. Where Sarah has a coked-out core of moral decency hidden below the psychological damage from a miserable childhood in wealth, Liam has no such center to draw from. He's a player in the game of life, and he plays the game well.
He likes Sarah well enough; in his own way he loves her. But, he's more concerned with building his empire than his queen, to which she is well aware. Her acting out has--in many ways--solidified his reputation within the community, and keeping her just happy enough to stay is in his best interests.
