Overview
Headmistress of the Wiccan community in Salem, though she abhors the notion of placing herself above her peers, Ms. Yelena Monroe is a quiet and knowledgeable young woman who has been an active member of the Salem community for almost all her life. Awakened at a young age, she spent much of her time rather bookishly pursuing a higher understanding of the magical world, but her true passion lay in the teaching of others and elevating those around her. It was this passion for teaching which drove her to success and made her well liked in her community, and her charitable work in aiding others in this dark world of greed has made her out to be a de facto leading figure in the Salem Witches.
This is part of her greatest flaw however: Yelena Monroe is not a leader in heart. Though she has taken the nominal title of "Headmistress" she still finds herself undeserving, and while she has had a few years now to learn and better herself to build her confidence, in moments of crisis or guilt she finds herself lacking in every regard, and her ability to lead others dwindles. Still, a full magician who is quite powerful with the arcane and skilled in all forms of magic is not someone to take lightly or to underestimate, and to those she is loyal to she will spare no effort in seeing them through their darkest times.
GM Notes
- Very softspoken woman, polite and never eager to start a fight.
- Being a Wiccan, Yelena is a pacifist. Though she will defend herself if absolutely necessary, she finds herself lacking in the heart to do so and does not appreciate her services being put to use for the sake of harming others without cause. Even with sufficient reason, expect hesitation and a need to be persuaded and limited support.
- After the recovery of the Head of the Sevenfold Staff, Yelena has witnessed and experienced things she cannot tell another soul. Those who know may find themselves in favor with her, but those who seek to chase those secrets down may find a shockingly resilient obstacle in their way should she have a say about it.
