Maria is a daughter of the Batista Crime family, one of the most powerful crime organizations in the Caribbean League. Spending time away from her family, from Cuba, she resides in Miami, working to finish her Masters degree in Business.
Recently, her family tried to marry her off to a member of the Zobop in an attempt to forge a more harmonious future together.
